CHINDENI camp lies nestled on the apex of a permanent oxbow lagoon, offset by the magnificent Nchendeni Hills.

From here is a short and fascinating walk to neighboring Chamilandu and Bilimungwe camps. With optimum accommodation for six guests (or eight if in a private group), this secluded camp provides the perfect location for the ultimate bush experience

From Chindeni it's a short but stunning walk to Chamilandu or Bilimungwe. An early morning walk between the camps will provide an ideal opportunity to enjoy two of our trails camps in one stay.

Accommodation:

Raised on wooden decking Chindeni's four en-suite tented chalets are sheltered by a shady ebony grove. Each tent has 2 queen-sized beds, hot and cold running water, shower, toilet, double vanities and polished floors.

Each chalet has its own private raised veranda from which you can view the resident game and enjoy the serene yet breathtaking tranquility of the vast lagoon.

This is the ideal spot for both the avid and intrepid game spotter, as well as the more sedentary visitors who wish to observe nature at it's best without too much personal effort.

Activities & Facilities:

The lush and wide lagoon, which stretches out from just beneath your own private balcony, ensures that you need make little effort as you lazily watch the abundance of game that parades before you in the joys of the verdant pantry at your feet.

Ancient ebony trees with their sweet fruit shade the bar and dining area and an adjacent, gently sloping walkway provides access to a lagoon-side retreat. From here, guests can enjoy an open-air dining experience, or the spectacular sunset as it reflects from the still waters of the lagoon.

• Rates are person per night and include accommodation, meals, game activities, drinks on safari (beers, soft drinks, gin and tonic etc), laundry, park fees, tea and coffee, government taxes and service charges. A house wine is provided at dinner, but all bottled wine should be paid for. Road transfers between camps and from Mfuwe Airport.
• Rates exclude imported wines (including SA wines) and any other personal expenses not listed above.
  Long stay rates are valid for clients staying at any of the 6 Bushcamp Company properties and/or Mfuwe Lodge for more than 7 consecutive nights. During the Green Season (Jun-Oct), the Luangwa Experience can be a combination of Kapamba Camp, Bilimungwe Camp and Mfuwe Lodge.
Children of 12 years or over are welcome. Full rates are applicable.
Chindeni is open from 1 June to 31 October.
