Porini Lion Camp is located in the exclusive 20,000 acre Olare Orok Conservancy.

This expansive conservancy, which borders the Masai Mara Game Reserve is home to an abundance of animals including the Big Cats for which the Mara is famous.

Accommodation:

The Camp is situated along the banks of the Ntiakatiak River, a seasonal river with some permanent hippo pools near the camp. With 6 luxury guest tents the camp is very exclusive and giving you a real in the bush experience.

The tents are very spacious and have private verandahs along the length of the tent, providing a secluded and private ‘space’ for you to relax and enjoy the beauty of this African wilderness.

Each tent has en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers. Food is excellent with fresh baked bread and high quality meals prepared by the camp Chef.

Facilities / Activities:

Large Safari tents with a double and single bed, solar electric lights, en suite bathrooms with flush toilet and safari shower.
All meals and picnic lunches, free mineral water, sodas, gin, beer and house wine.
Custom built 4x4 safari vehicles for game drives.
Expert driver-guides. Morning, evening and night game drives in Olore Orok Conservancy.
Full day in Mara National Reserve with picnic lunch.
Escorted walk with Maasai guides.
Sundowner drinks to watch the sunset from scenic viewing points.
Transfers from airstrip to Porini Lion Camp.

Game Viewing /Activities:

At camp guests enjoy morning, evening and night game drives in custom built 4x4's. Sundowners at scenic viewing points, from where you can enjoy a drink watching the sun set over the Mara.

In addition, enjoy escorted bush walks with Maasai warriors and safari guide, where you can get an insight into the Maasai people, their way of life and also learn more about the animals, birds and plants of the Mara.

Children (8-16years) each pay 60% if sharing with 2 adults; If sharing with 1 adult the adult pays single supp and child pays 60%; 2 children in own tent 75% of adult rate each; 4^th child in tent is strongly discouraged due to limited space in tent and shower/toilet facilities. The camp is not suitable for children under 8yrs.
