Meet and assist at Kilimanjaro International Airport by our local representative for assistance. Transfer to Arusha by vehicle to Arusha Safari Lodge (Safari Spa) for dinner and overnight.

Arusha Safari Lodge is a small secluded luxury haven equipped to cater for discerning travelers and consists of 7 luxurious and spacious guest cottages and is tucked away on volcanic hills with spectacular views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru. Located only four kilometers outside of Arusha.

Breakfast. Arusha airport. Fly to Serengeti by scheduled Air flight departing at 0800hrs. Upon arrival you will be picked up to your private vehicle and proceed with game drives en-route to your Classic camping for check in and lunch. PM game drives in Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight in Serengeti Wilderness camping.

This fully supported camp is light enough to get you any where off the beaten track while enjoying a comfortable wilderness experience. A special campsite in the Serengeti will be booked for you, supreme privacy in an exclusive scenic site in the heart of the wild; other than the camp crew there will be no one else for miles! Shaded dining tent serves as the camp's center and wholesome and nutritious meals are served by your chef. The days wind down around the camp fire, with a drink in hand and stories shared under the stars.

Sayari Camp is an intimate seasonal tented camp of 8 guest tents. Guest tents are very originally designed, spacious and are equipped with fully en-suite bathroom facilities although the camp is truly mobile.

Each tent has its own private verandah with comfortable couch and chairs, overlooking the vast Serengeti that is spread out before you. Inside the tent, comfortable king-size beds with contemporary furniture give the tent a very stylish yet homely feel. Lighting, which is solar based, can be made both atmospheric and at reading strength. The bathroom has a shower, double sinks and a ceramic flush toilet that is environmentally friendly.

A sea of cushions, a wide range of quality drinks & snacks and a wealth of books on nature & wildlife in the area make this a place where you can easily lose track of time. Dining is intimate in the dining area, but can also be enjoyed privately under the millions of stars in the Serengeti sky. Either way, the amicable staff will prepare you a meal you wouldn’t dream possible in the middle of the camp’s remote wilderness locations.

The name Serengeti stems from the Maasai word "Siring" referring to "endless plains", and that’s really what it is. The Serengeti is vast, stretching from the endless grass plains in the South to the woodlands in the north up to the Kenyan border.

The size of the Serengeti eco-system as a whole is virtually the same size as Belgium. The Serengeti hosts the largest concentration of wildlife in the world, thought to be more than 3 million, and is home to one of the great wonders in the world, the Great Migration.

Day 8:

Breakfast. Full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park. Meals and overnight in Sayari Camp-Mara River. Over a million of Wildebeest move annually from the southern plains, where they give birth in December - March, to the north and the Mara River, and back, accompanied by Zebra and other migratory mammals. Lion, cheetah, hyena, hunting dog and crocodiles make sure only the strongest survive.
