DAY ONE - Arrive Stanley’s Camp,
Botswana
On arrival at Maun Airport, a Sanctuary Retreats representative will meet
and assist you to your onward flight. Depart Maun Airport on a Mack Air
shared light aircraft charter flight to Stanley's Camp. The flying time to
Stanley's Camp is approximately 15 minutes. Kindly note, however, that all
inter-camp
flights are subject to multiple pick ups and drop offs en route to your
destination which could affect the flying time. On arrival at the airstrip a
Stanley’s Camp representative will meet and transfer you to the camp. The
transfer time is approximately 20 minutes.
This camp is situated in a 260,000-acre
private concession, thus affording guests absolute exclusivity. Guest
accommodation consists of 8 classic styled safari tents. The delicately
appointed tents exude classic Africa; handcrafted beds dressed with the
finest linen, antique furniture individually selected and oriental carpets
that transport you to early 19th century Africa. Each unit offers en-suite
facilities and a private deck. Hammocks and Morris chairs on the decks are
perfect for relaxation in the African sunshine. The main building is raised
on decking and offers extensive views over the surrounding floodplains.
Stanley's is carefully blended into the existing tree line, its main support
being a large sausage tree. |

The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the game
viewing activities. Stanley's Camp offers some of the best game viewing in
the Okavango, including the rare and elusive wild dog. A completely unique
Stanley's feature is an educational experience with a group of
semi-habituated African elephants and a highly recommended activity at an
additional cost.
Activities available at Stanley's Camp
include serene mokoro canoe excursions (subject to water levels), exclusive
bush dinners, and game drives in customized, open 4 x 4 vehicles - including
the rare opportunity of night drives. As Stanley's Camp is in a private
concession, guests also have the exclusive option of walking safaris with an
armed professional guide.

DAY THREE - Stanley’s Camp to Chief’s
Camp
Enjoy a morning game viewing activity followed by breakfast. A camp
representative will transfer you to the airstrip, the transfer time will be
advised to you locally by the camp management. Depart Stanley's Camp on a
Mack Air shared light aircraft charter flight to Chief's Camp. The flying
time to Chief's Camp is approximately 15 minutes. Kindly note, however, that
all inter-camp flights are subject to multiple pick ups and drop offs en
route to your destination which could affect the flying time.
On arrival at the airstrip a camp
representative will meet and transfer you to the lodge. The transfer time is
approximately 10 minutes. Chief's Camp is a luxury bush camp situated on
Chief's Island in the exclusive Mombo Concession of the Moremi Game Reserve.
This region is known as the “predator capital” of Africa and is considered
to have the finest game viewing in Botswana including the Big Five. |

Guest accommodation comprises of 12 secluded,
permanent luxury bush pavilions. Each unit features a thatched roof,
spacious seating area, en-suite facilities with indoor and outdoor showers
as well as a private game viewing deck with hammock and deck chairs. Each
unit boasts a generous mosquito net on a four-poster bed, two wardrobes, a
book shelf, writing desk and mini bar. The main lodge complex houses the
dining area, bar, curio shop, library and reception area. This structure has
been built into the existing landscape, under a heavy canopy of mature
Jackalberry, Sausage and Rain trees.
The main deck area is split-level and offers
expansive views over the floodplain while the lower level of the deck houses
an exquisite swimming pool. A range of spa treatments are offered in the
treatment room. Activities include game drives & seasonal mokoro excursions

DAY FIVE - Chief’s Camp to Chobe Chilwero
Enjoy a morning game viewing activity followed by breakfast. A camp
representative will transfer you to the airstrip. The transfer time will be
advised to you locally by the camp management. Depart Chief's Camp on a Mack
Air shared light aircraft charter flight to Kasane. The flying time to
Kasane is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. Kindly note, however, that all
inter-camp flights are subject to multiple pick ups and drop offs en route
to your destination which could affect the flying time. On arrival at Kasane
Airport a Chobe Chilwero lodge representative will meet and transfer you to
the lodge. The transfer time is approximately 10 minutes.
Deep in the heart of the Botswana wilderness lies Chobe Chilwero Lodge, one
of the most enchanting places on earth. Relax in luxurious thatched
cottages, with modern freestanding baths, indoor and outdoor showers,
terrace and private garden with hammock overlooking the magnificent Chobe
River. Enjoy thrilling guided game drives in open-sided 4X4 vehicles that
bring you to the heart of Africa's largest concentration of elephants, as
well as hippos, buffalos, antelope, lions and other creatures that gather on
the banks of the Chobe River. Or join one of the acclaimed guides on a
wondrous water safari on specially adapted motorboats. |

Accommodation is in 15 cottages and each cottage
measures 61 square meters, has its own en-suite bathroom with a modern
freestanding bath, indoor and outdoor showers, private garden with hammock,
“sala” or private balcony, mosquito nets, ceiling fans, air-conditioning,
hairdryer, minibar as well as an in-room safe. T
he main public area includes a lounge, outside
dining area, dining room and library which are linked to outdoor viewing
patios.
The wine cellar is temperature controlled and
houses a large variety of the finest South African wines. The new fully
fledged Spa, offers a range of spa and hydrotherapy treatments from both the
Thalgo and Africology ranges.
The lodge also boasts a split-level swimming
pool, curio shop and a communications centre, which offers telephone, fax
and internet access.

The day is at leisure to enjoy the game viewing activities on offer. Meals

DAY SEVEN - Chobe Chilwero to Livingstone, Zambia
Enjoy a morning game viewing activity followed by breakfast. You will
transfer via a ferry crossing to Livingstone Airport. The transfer time will
be advised to you locally by the lodge management. The transfer time with be
approximately 1 hr 30 mins. Please note depending on the passport you carry
a visa maybe required to enter Zambia. Depart Livingstone on a scheduled
flight to your next destination. |
