Highlights of Botswana Mobile Camping Safari

The night prior to your tour you will be met by your guide for a pre-departure briefing. Day 1. Okavango Delta A Wilderness Dawning Safaris representative will meet you at Maun airport and you will then fly by light aircraft to Xaxanaxa - this wildlife mecca forms part of the permanent delta and also falls within Moremi Game Reserve. This evening you will do some game viewing in this unique area by vehicle. |

Day 2. Gcodikwe Island
We explore the crystal clear channels of the delta by motor boat as well as on foot. This evening we visit the Gcodikwe heronry. Overnight camping is on a small-secluded island in the heart of the permanent delta. |

Day 3 / 4 Moremi Game Reserve. We boat to the mainland and travel by vehicle to our exclusive site in the Moremi game Reserve - hailed as one of Africa's greatest wildlife sanctuaries, it is here that we spend the next two nights. Morning and evening game drives along the rich floodplains and woodlands. |

Day 5 / 6 Chobe National Park. Travel via the Mababe depression to Savuti. We camp next to the dry Savuti channel and explore the area extensively by vehicle. Savuti is well known for it's healthy populations of Elephants and predators. |

Day 7 / 8 Chobe National Park. We travel north to the mighty Chobe river which attracts large herds of gig game, such as elephant and buffalo. Other species such as hippo, kudu and giraffe also occur in large numbers. An evening boat cruise adds to the spectacular variety of this area. Overnight Chobe Camp.

Day 9. Victoria Falls. After our last night of camping, we have one last drive on our way out of Chobe, passing through Kasane and Kazungula border post again, on to Vic falls. After checking into our hotel, the afternoon is at leisure. Entrance into the Vic falls rain forest is included in the trip price. |
