There are a host of restaurants in the neighborhood or you can relax in a world class dining experience at the hotel itself.
Day 2 - 4: Chobe National Park, Chobe Game Lodge
Today you will be transferred to OR Tambo Airport for a flight to Kasane in Botswana. A transfer into the Chobe National Park gets you to Chobe Game Lodge. This is the only lodge that is situated within the National Park boundary and is the perfect base to explore the Reserve and the Chobe River.
Chobe is well known for its concentration of game and particularly for the largest concentration of African Elephant. Chobe Game Lodge offers a choice of land or water based activities which gives you a complete game viewing experience in this famous National Park.
Enjoy a 2 night stay in a river facing, air conditioned room. The lodge caters for families too.
Day 4 - 6: Moremi National Park, Camp Moremi
A charter flight out of Kasane into the Okavango Delta takes you to Camp Moremi in the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp is situated where the waters of the Delta meet the vast plains of the Kalahari Desert. A magnificent environment for game viewing, the Camp offers land based and water based activities.
The Okavango Delta is a vast wilderness and is one of the most pristine game viewing destinations in Africa. Enjoy activities from the land in open 4 x 4 safari vehicles allowing you to track the wildlife in the beautiful surroundings. Or you can explore the Xakanaxa Lagoon and surrounding Delta channels by motorboat, providing exceptional bird watching and the chance of big game coming down to the shores to drink or bath.
The lodge is an elegant thatch and timber structure shaded by ancient ebony trees. Catering for only 22 guests in East-African style individual safari tents, every tent is raised with private facilities and a viewing deck. A 2 night stay gets you involved in all the lodge has to offer.
Day 6 - 8: Okavango Delta, Xugana Island Lodge
Enjoy a scenic transfer by air over the Okavango waterways to the remote Xugana Island Camp, a permanent water based camp in the Delta.
The Lodge accommodates just 16 guests in large raised reed and thatch lagoon facing chalets with private decks on the shaded fringe of the island. Here you have the chance to experience a classic Okavango Delta safari.
Due to the permanent water location of the camp you explore the area by motorboat or by mokoro (local dugout canoe). There is also walking available on some of the surrounding islands. Bird-watching opportunities are outstanding and fishing is also offered at the camp. Enjoy your 2 night stay in this untouched wilderness.
Day 8 - 10: Makgadikgadi National Park, Leroo le Tau
Today another charter flight will get you from the waterways of the Okavango Delta to the desert plains of the Kalahari. This makes for a magic combination in Botswana as the scenes that unfold before you are so completely different to the waterways of the Delta.
Leroo le Tau is built on cliffs 10 meters above the riverbed, guaranteeing unsurpassed views of the Boteti River and Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. 12 luxury thatched and glass fronted suites add to the views of the vast wilderness in front of you. You have 2 nights here to enjoy this unique experience.
Game viewing in the area is varied, and with the Boteti River flowing again after 2 decades of draught, has made for an amazing abundance of wild life now seen on game drives. Activities are scheduled in the mornings and evenings and there is also an opportunity to visit a local village.
