Great Plains Conservation
5 individuals in their 50's pooled their wide ranging skills and experience to create innovative, world class conservation projects in diverse and threatened habitats throughout Africa, the Indian Ocean and eventually India. In order to secure the planets future, sustainable conservation models must be created. These models need to integrate communities, Government and the private sector. With conservation and safari experiences in Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania, Great Plains Conservation looks to conserve threatened environments in some of the biggest tourist destinations in Africa.
In Kenya ol Donyo Lodge is unrivalled with superb views of Mount Kilimanjaro. "Ride Kenya Mobile Horse Safaris" has access to one of the largest expanses of land in Africa! Mara Plains Camp is set in the heart of big predator country. And Lukula Selous in the vast Selous Game Reserve, is a private photographic sanctuary of over 300,000 acres.
Great Plains Conservation is leading the way in Conservation Tourism and we are proud to be associated and in support of their efforts.
