African Horseback Safaris

African Horseback Safaris. The big attraction of a horse safari in the Okavango Delta is the thrill of riding good horses over diverse landscape where the opportunities for wildlife spotting are endless.  You have the chance of being a part of a unique herd where splashing and cantering through lagoons, tracking elephant or buffalo, crossing the plains with zebra and giraffe, or simply relaxing and watching the setting African sun is a part of the journey.  Where else in the world can this possibly be a reality but with African Horseback Safaris?

African Horseback Safaris runs Macatoo Camp which is situated on the western side of the Okavango Delta.  Flooded with more than 400 species of birds, this oasis trapped in the dry Kalahari Desert is a sanctuary for wildlife whose existence depends on the delta's life giving water!   Macatoo Camp is situated in a 500,000 acre private concession in this Delta paradise.
