Kicheche Laikipia Camp

Situated at the foot of indigenous forest overlooking a waterhole in the centre of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Kicheche Laikipia Camp is a laidback and luxurious escape in the heart of the Kenya wilderness.

Kicheche Laikipia Camp is home to a large population of endangered Black Rhino, numerous elephant herds, cheetah, leopard and lion, wild life enthusiasts will be enthralled with the beauty and animal density in the conservancy. With plentiful plains game a given too, photo and animal spotting opportunities are a constant.

Each of the six tents at this intimate camp is a spacious exercise in 'Out of Africa' style - from the rich, warm colours inspired by Africa used in the décor to the open sided under-canvas experience that allows the sights and sounds of the wilds to be an ever present feature, seating outside each tent provides a ringside view of waterhole animal activity.

Most meals are alfresco affairs at Kicheche Laikipia Camp and there is a main tented lounge area for mingling with your group or other guests. A full menu of game viewing activities is on offer at this tented camp - from day and night drives to game walks with experienced guides, lion tracking as well as visits to the on site chimpanzee sanctuary where guests are able to learn about the need to conserve this playful species.
