Lewa Safari Camp

Situated within the private 65,000 acre wildlife conservancy of the Lewa Wilderness Trust, home to plentiful number of black rhino and the single largest population of Grevys zebra in the world, Lewa Safari Camo has an impeccable community and conservation pedigree too - reinvesting all the profits generated from tourism into its core programmes.

Guests will love their thatch and canvas tents that offer beautiful views of the bush surrounds and are dressed for the occasion in subtle tones and textures. Three of the tents can be converted into family-friendly spaces for children under the age of 16.

Activities at this interactive safari camp are plentiful and range from game drives and fascinating guided bush walks to horse riding and camel treks, archaeological outings and educational excursions that share the history and goals of the conservancy in which Lewa Safari Camp is situated.
An enthusiastic focus on mouthwatering meals ensures guests are well fed and with opportunities to experience a breakfast in the bush, guaranteed to be always interesting. After a morning game drive or walk, cool off in the swimming pool, with its beautiful views then retire to your tent before reconvening for afternoon activities.

The not-for-profit Lewa Conservancy in which the camp is situated plays a significant role in animal conservation in Northern Kenya and has played a positive role in providing education to some 11 local schools - with the knowledge that all profits from their stay benefits this trust, guests depart Lewa Safari Camp knowing they have truly made a difference.

Situated in the heart of a private, game rich conservancy in northern Kenya and blessed with beautiful views of Mount Kenya, Lewa Safari Camp is a luxury wilderness experience characterised by its commitment to community and conservation, an eco-tourism must.
