Kipungani Explorer lodge is constructed entirely from natural local materials, giving it a rustic elegance that fits in perfectly with the scenic surroundings. Thirteen roomy chalets look onto a pristine sandy beach and the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, where exquisite coral gardens teem with marine life.

The bungalows' are equipped with a luscious range of creature comforts, including king-size beds, plush hanging sofas piled with vividly coloured cushions, dressing areas and en-suite bathrooms with hot waters howers and flush toilets.
Sea-facing balconies face onto a pristine white sandy beach that stretches for over 10 kilometres along Lamu Island's coast. This presents limitless opportunities for sun-bathing, swimming and water sports. Alternatively, guests can relax in five-star style at the saltwater infinity pool in front of the lodge.

For entertainment, guests at Kipungani Explorer are spoilt for choice, with a host of natural, archaeological and social attractions up for grabs. Lamu is a diver's and snorkeller's paradise.
