On arrival in Nairobi you will be met and transferred to the House of Waine boutique hotel It is just 3kms from the giraffe centre. Ideally located in the calming suburb of Karen., it offers a tranquil setting for you to unwind in after your long flight. With exceptional service and family owned hospitality enjoy your overnight stay You can relax in the garden, venture into town for some shopping, enjoy meals at the hotel or surrounding areas, and should you feel Africa calling, you can visit the Nairobi National Park.

Your guide will come and meet you at the hotel for your transfer to Amboseli National Park. This is a road transfer and takes around 4 hours. You arrive at camp in time for lunch.The Porini Camp lies in the Selenkay Conservancy in the Amboseli eco-system, about 10 miles outside of the National Park borders. The number of visitors into the Conservancy is limited to 18 per day to retain the wild and un-spoilt nature of the area. It is an important area for wildlife migrating out of the National Park and local communities and agreements all aim to conserve the area for wildlife.

Drives into Amboseli National Park for game viewing and that classic view of Kilimanjaro that the area is so famous for, are undertaken from a private track. Amboseli is a popular attraction and enjoys many of the big mammals as well as fantastic bird life. Water supply and seasonal lakes attract great wildlife attention and are super spots to enjoy game viewing. The park is also well known for its elephant herds.Porini Camp is a small luxury tented camp. Comfortable, spacious tents have all you need during your 2 night stay. The Camp takes pride in the minimal impact it has on the environment so enjoys solar power and really gives you an authentic safari experience.
