nKelenga Tented Camp

N'Kelenga Tented Camp is a unique self-catering option in the Thornybush Collection and has been developed especially to provide guests with an exclusive-use camp. Accommodating up to ten guests, the camp has its own Land Rover and is fully equipped. From ample fridge and freezer storage to DSTV and a housekeeper, N'Kelenga is ideal for families, groups of friends or even informal business breakaways.

Providing a rustic experience, the camp is nestled under a majestic Acacia tree and overlooks a large watering hole, where animals regularly come to drink. It's the ultimate way to experience the lush savannah of the Mpumalanga province and unfailingly manages to bring guests closer to the evocative African wilderness.

Consisting of an air-conditioned main house with a loft, the camp is perfect for accommodating children and also includes three en-suite tents, which are reminiscent of the colonial era of exploration.
This tented paradise provides guests with a whole slew of authentic interactions with the bushveld and the ever-helpful staff always go the extra mile. Whether you're watching a lioness with her cubs or sipping chilled champagne, each memory made at N'Kelenga is bound to be extraordinary.

There are children's activities on offer, such as picnics by the pool (complete with packed lunches), educational walks with rangers and exciting treasure hunts around the lodge, where clues can be found from the books in the well-stocked library. It's the perfect setting to share a safari experience with loved ones, and the tents just add to the sense of adventure.

Completely in step with Africa's great tradition of tented safaris, N'Kelenga's focus on providing singular wildlife experiences and an unparalleled natural setting means guests get the very best the bush has to offer.
