You arrive in Johannesburg and immediately go through to boarding for a flight to the Kruger International Airport. This short flight gets you straight to the African Bush and you will be met at the airport and transferred to your lodge.

A 4 night stay at the authentic, family-run Nottens Bush Camp will settle you into Safari life. This is a small and intimate lodge with only 8 suites. Private game viewing decks, lovely big open plan bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, paraffin lamps and candles to add to the atmosphere of your Safari experience.

The lodge is situated in the Private Sabi Sands Reserve which is well known for its exceptionally high concentration of animal and bird life and particularly sightings and close encounters with the Big 5. On arrival in Vilanculos you will be transferred across to Benguerra Island by boat. The transfer takes about 20 minutes and is your first taste of island life!
Marlin Lodge is found on the South Western shore of Benguerra Island, the second largest of the four main islands that make up the Bazaruto Archipelago. The island is 11km in length and 5.5 in width and is a diverse ecological gem - with sand dunes, fresh water lakes, savannah, acacia woodlands and forest and of course the warm Indian Ocean lapping its shores.

Spend 5 nights in your luxury beach suite with stunning sea views and only a few steps to the white sands of Flamingo Bay Beach. Enjoy private dinners or breathtaking sunsets from your veranda.
