Day 4 - 7: Damaraland: Doro Nawas
After enjoying the game viewing of Etosha you are going to head west into the stark and beautiful Damaraland. You are heading for a 3 night stay in the Doro Nawas Conservancy at the community run Doro Nawas Camp, part of the Wilderness Adventure Portfolio.
The landscape ranges from boulder strewn plains to interesting rock formations and is surrounded by sand dunes. There is some amazing desert adapted wildlife that roams the area, which includes the desert adapted elephants. There are not huge concentrations of wildlife here, but when you do see it, it is pretty amazing learning how it survives in the harsh arid environment. The area is also well known for some amazing geological formations as well as prehistoric rock art.
Doro Nawas Camp is a joint venture between Wilderness, the Doro Nawas community and a Namibian Empowerment Company. It rests on the slopes of a small hill therefore commanding magnificent views of the rugged Damaraland plains. There are 16 units, with designs and décor blending in with the surrounding scenery.

Day 7 - 9: Swakopmund: Swakopmund Guest House
From Damaraland you have about a 4 - 5 hour journey to Swakopmund, on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. The sea breeze is often welcome after the heat of the desert.
Enjoy a 2 night stay at the luxurious Swakopmund Guest House which is located in the town centre. The guest house offers a bed and breakfast facility allowing you some independence to explore this historic town.
With plenty of water based activities on offer in Walvis Bay, 50km down the coast, and lots of desert activities available in Swakopmund, there is plenty to keep you busy for your 2 day visit.
