Day by Day Overview
Day 1 - 2: Johannesburg, Melrose Arch Hotel
When arriving in Johannesburg you will be met and transferred to the 5 star Melrose Arch Hotel in the leafy northern suburbs. The Melrose Arch Hotel is hip and stylish and centrally located with a massive array of restaurants and shops for you to browse through. Relax and unwind here after your long flight.
Day 2 - 5: Kruger National Park, Kings Camp
A transfer to OR Tambo Airport and a short flight to the Kruger National Park gets the safari spirit soaring. Transfer to the private Timbavati Nature Reserve in an air conditioned vehicle.
You have a 3 night stay at the luxurious Kings Camp. Here you will feel the romance of Africa luring you as you begin your Safari Honeymoon. Eleven suites, reflecting Africa's colonial style face the open savanna plain where you have the chance of spotting Africa's Big 5.
Twice daily game drives, walks in the wild bush, romantic bush dinners or spectacular helicopter flights (additional cost) are some of the activities on offer.
Day 5 - 8: Sabi Sands Reserve, Lion Sands Ivory Lodge
A light aircraft charter adds to the romance of this destination as you fly above the wild savanna with the chance of spotting the Big 5.
Pure indulgence awaits you at Lion Sands Ivory Lodge in the famous Sabi Sand Reserve. Your suite is operated as a Private Villa and this exclusive safari experience will be a highlight on your Honeymoon.
Falling within the boundaries of the Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sand Reserve is well known for its Big 5 sightings which include those of the elusive leopard. The lodge is positioned on the banks of the Sabi River, (which flows year round) with breathtaking views from your Villa or private viewing terrace.
For the ultimate African Honeymoon experience an overnight stay in the Treehouse is a must. Under African stars this allows you to be completely alone in the true wilderness (but safety out of reach of what is out there).
Day 8 - 12: Cape Town, Twelve Apostles Hotel
Leaving the African Bush behind you a direct flight from the Kruger International Airport takes you to one of the world's most beautiful cities - Cape Town. A private transfer from the airport drops you at the romantic Twelve Apostles Hotel which rests on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean.
Staying in a deluxe room you have the option of a mountain or sea view - the decision is tough! Your first day in Cape Town includes a private guided tour of the winelands, while the next 3 days you get to enjoy at your leisure with a car for easy access to Cape Town's Top Attractions.
Sipping a cocktail from the deck, a glorious African Sunset over the Atlantic Ocean ends your African Honeymoon.
Day 12: Tour Ends
You leave your vehicle at the 12 Apostles Hotel for collection and a private transfer gets you to Cape Town International Airport for your flight home.
