Jaci's Treetop Lodge

Jaci's Treetop Lodge comprises eight individual tree houses, each with its very own giant Tamboetie or Leadwood tree, the lodge's accommodation is set in a riverine forest. The stilts - which are up to four metres from the ground - elevate each spacious suite, which was constructed with a combination of rosewood, thatch and beautiful wooden stacking doors.

The open- plan, en-suite bathrooms feature enormous stone baths and the outdoor "jungle showers" allow guests to enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest. Each room boasts air-conditioning, underfloor heating, fans and a king-sized bed and the suites are decorated in bright reds and greens. A strong presence of modern African elements, coupled with generous balconies, enhances the bushveld experience.

The Nare and Safari Suites are ideal for families and feature elements such as plunge pools and private dining areas.
A short walk away from Jaci's Tree Lodge, a small watering hole and wetland area attracts a wealth of wildlife and it is here - on the riverbank - where the lodge's small hide can provide hours of uninterrupted game viewing, not to mention world-class bird watching.  It even offers a four-poster bed on the top of the hide, where guests are encouraged to enjoy a night in the wilderness, with special night time game viewing to boot.

Back at the lodge, facilities include an on-site gym where guests can hit the treadmill or exercise bike under the shade of the Acacia trees overlooking the river; and adjacent to the gym, a convenient play will keep tiny tots happily entertained while you work out.

With two swimming pools to cool off in after going on exciting game drives as well as the well-appointed Masala Spa, guests can truly relax and unwind while enjoying a magnificent safari experience.
