You will land in Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia, and connect with the local flight to Mfuwe. On arrival at Mfuwe International Airport you will be met by your guide and transferred to the camp. You have about an hour's drive to the camp through colorful towns and bushveld.
Nkwali Camp is perfectly positioned along the Luangwa River allowing for amazing views onto this game rich water system. The life of the Valley in the dry season, the Luangwa River is a hive of activity. Spend 2 nights at this camp orienteering yourself with the bushveld around you.
You can enjoy game drives in open 4 x 4 safari vehicles that allow you to get so close to the wildlife you could stretch your arm out to touch. Game drives are conducted in the mornings and evening allowing you to relax at camp during the heat of the day.
Transfer across the Luangwa River to Tena Tena. The canoe trip across is an adventure in itself. The river can be teaming with Hippo's so one wants to keep these animals more or less in the distance. Your experienced guides will keep you safe.

Today you transfer back to Mfuwe for an international flight to Lilongwe in Malawi. You will be met and helped through immigration in Malawi and will then be charted out to Monkey Bay Airstrip - 45 minutes from Lilongwe. Pumalani staff will be on hand to meet you and welcome you to the tropical shores of one of Africa's largest lakes.
Now it is time for you to sit back and relax and really feel that holiday mood taking action. Lake Malawi is a fresh water lake that is also teeming with life. Enjoy your time snorkeling from its shores, kayaking, sailing, fishing or swimming. At the end of the day climb on a local dhow and let yourself be whisked off into the sunset.......
