On the north western border of the Chobe National Park lies one of Botswana’s most beautiful and authentic safari lodges. Linyanti Bush Camp is located within a private reserve along the Linyanti River making it a unique spot for exceptional wildlife viewing year round, a highlight being the hundreds of majestic elephants.
To ensure the exclusivity and privacy of the camp, Linyanti offers five Meru-style traditional canvas tents that can accommodate two people and three upon request. Each tent is spacious and well appointed with luxurious amenities and an expansive private wooden deck that overlooks the river, guaranteeing sheer comfort and incredible views for all guests. Everyone is welcome at Linyanti, from families to single travellers to honeymooners.
Life at Linyanti is geared towards ensuring guests are happy every minute of the day. Early morning wake-up calls start with a fresh cup of coffee or tea, followed by either a 4×4 game drive or a boat cruise on the river through reed beds and channels. These trips will be the highlight of every guest’s stay where they’ll be treated to sightings of lions, wild dogs, leopards, cheetahs, zebra, buffalo and of course, herds of elephants. The river cruises will tick off every bird lover’s bucket list as they’ll be treated to sightings of a variety of beautiful birds. After breakfast back at the camp, guests take the rest of the morning to relax in the main lounge or in their private tents. Lunch is then served and in the late afternoon another 4×4 trip through the bush is on the cards, this time with a special sunset drink. Back at the lodge, guests enjoy a hearty dinner before getting a good night’s rest or enjoying a few nightcaps at the bar.
