First thing I have to say is that our overall tour was sensational. Thank you so much. We can’t stop talking about it.
Below for your info I listed some of our collective thoughts:
-transfers- arrived promptly and were well informed about the area. Friendly personalities too.
-Cape Charters driver– Steven Andrews for the Garden Route Tour was outstanding. He was more of a tour guide than just a driver. We stopped in Wilderness to put our feet in the Indian Ocean. Although our Table Mountain tickets were for Saturday, he was able to get us to the top on late Thurs afternoon when it was clear to see the stunning sunset. We’d recommend issuing the Table Mountain tickets to coincide with the time in CapeTown since they were good for 14days.
Hotels- all very nice accommodations and ready for our arrival with a refreshing drink.
Gondwana- amazing, loved the huts. Beautiful Reserve. However, the brother and sister occupancy had to stagger their showers since the showers were open within the hut. No matter, they have a good story to tell. The staff had to double check your booking date and that our meals and drinks were fully inclusive. I believe they have changed their policies. Excellent meals however. The game drivers were fully informed and we knew they loved what they were doing. We saw lions, baboons, giraffes, elephant, rhino,zebras and well has the grazing animals ie springbok, etc.
