Hi Liesl,

It was a fantastic trip. All of your arrangements worked great. I was surprised by how closely Wilderness Safaris was tracking our progress including Nottens and Chiawa.

Where to start? Our favorite camp was Chiawa followed by Nottens, Little Vumbura, Savuti and Ongava Tented Camp.

The Lower Zambezi River is amazing.  David and Grant Cummings and family were there and we dined with them every night. Including us, there were from five to three guests.

We saw every animal there is including more lions than I could count and 5 leopards. The highlight of the trip for me was seeing 3 young male Cheetahs in Little Vumbura and staying with then for at least an hour. Our guide was Rain who was our favorite on the whole trip.

Nottens had the most animals and the best night drives.

Ongava did not start out well. They were under staffed when we arrived and those who were there were unfriendly. However, as staff returned from their days off it got better. Our day in Etosha was poor as there was very little game. We saw 3 white rhinos in Ongava but we had seen 7 at one time in Sabi Sands. However we enjoyed the experience of being in Namibia and had a nice dinner and overnight at Olive Grove Guest House.

We had a great tour of Lusaka between flights including lunch at Marlin Restaurant for $25. Marlins is the place to be for lunch in Lusaka.

Next time we go to southern Africa I would travel in July as everybody said there would be more animals and it would be cooler.

We were never sick and the food was good and the wine was great. I downloaded 2,057 pictures yesterday after deleting more than 1,000 during the trip. Attached is my best shot.

Thanks again for the great arrangements you made

Tom
