The 12 luxurious air-conditioned suites are huge and beautifully furnished, with four-poster beds draped in mosquito netting and a generous lounge area with comfortable sofa and chairs. Then the en-suite bathrooms offer both inside and outdoor shower, as well as a free-standing tub so guests are spoilt for choice, especially with their private plunge pool out on the wide wooden deck as another relaxing option, feeling completely secluded in your own part of the African bush.
The spoiling continues at the main lodge where excellent food is created by Gabriel the chef using fresh local ingredients and herbs from the lodge gardens, for fine dining with a flavour of Africa. Superb friendly service from all the staff creates a home from home atmosphere and Sylvester the rescued cheetah is also an excellent host, showing guests around his terrain and offering a unique wildlife experience. Other activities to enjoy in the area are a sunset cruise on the Zambezi, white water rafting for the adventurous, riding elephants, walking with lions and many more exciting African experiences.
Return each evening to the tranquillity and unspoilt seclusion of the Elephant Camp, sip sundowners overlooking the spectacular landscape of the nearby gorge and then dine under the stars, before drifting to sleep in the wonderfully comfortable bed to the sounds of the African wild and the distant thunder of water from the Victoria Falls.
