The Hermanus beach on the left is Voëlklip, (‘bird rock’ in Afrikaans) perfect for swimming. The beach on the right is Nanny’s or Kamma Bay. Birkenhead House will pack you a picnic, beach bats and balls and you can spend a relaxed day on the sands.
