Each of Knysna River Club’s wooden chalets offer gorgeous vistas of the garden, lagoon or both and are strategically positioned a comfortable distance apart to allow for privacy and peace. With one-, two-, and three-bedroom chalets available, Knysna River Club has something for everyone – whether you’re travelling as a group of friends, a family needing room to move, or a couple seeking intimacy and romance.

Natural wood finishes create a warm golden glow both inside and out; high ceilings emphasise a sense of space, and large windows let in plenty of light and maximise views. Knysna River Club is designed to feel like a home from home, and all chalets have open-plan living area with a lounge, dining counter and fully-kitted kitchen, so guests can whip up their favourite meals at any time of the day or night.

Alternatively, an outdoor barbeque area allows for al fresco dining South African style, while those preferring to eat out can enjoy excellent cuisine from the lodge’s Boogies restaurant.
Boogies serves mouth-watering meals focusing on locally sourced ingredients and featuring both European and distinctively South African influences. Indulge in dishes such as slow-cooked springbok stew with mushrooms and mixed herbs, ostrich cubes in a green peppercorn sauce, fresh oysters, or ‘biltong’ salad.

Knysna River Club also offers excellent leisure facilities to while away the time not spent exploring the Garden Route’s plethora of natural, adventure and entertainment attractions. There is a sparkling swimming pool and sundeck, Jacuzzi, sauna, ping-pong and pool tables, air hockey and internet access, as well as an on-call beauty therapist who offers a range of pampering treatments.

Guests at Knysna River Club also have the use of the lodge’s kayaks, and a paddle on the serene Knysna Lagoon is a wonderful way to spend a morning, or watch the setting sun.
