MalaMala Main Camp is one of three camps in this renowned private game reserve. Traditional safari style rules in this unfenced camp, where every aspect is designed to enhance guests’ views of the surrounding bushveld. MalaMala Main Camp is set among massive indigenous trees and rolling lawns on the banks of the Sand River – don’t be surprised to find the occasional antelope or elephant sharing your oasis or drinking from the infinity pool. In accordance with the reserve’s conservation policies, there are no more than 36 guests staying at a time. Low-key yet with all comforts, each of the thatched rondavels has a private veranda overlooking the bush so guests can enjoy wildlife viewing from the comfort of their rooms.
Dinners showcase bush cuisine and venison specialities and superb wines and is served African safari style around a log fire in the reed-enclosed boma beneath the African night sky.
