Qorokwe is Wilderness Safaris’ newest Classic Camp. The name means “the place where the buffalo broke through the bush into the water” and is evocative of the high-density of big game in this south-eastern part of the Okavango Delta bordering the famous Moremi Reserve where diverse habitats support a wide variety of wildlife – a veritable paradise for safari purists!

Qorokwe Camp has 8 tented suites and a very large family tented suite with its own plunge pool. The en suite bathroom has a convertible indoor/outdoor shower. The impressive public area has a view over the lagoon and its infinity pool is the focal point for the expansive views. The dining area, lounge, library and bar are built on raised wooden platforms, all connected by walkways. Dining highlights at Qorokwe’ Camp include fun boma evenings and tasty pizzas from the camp’s bespoke oven.

Guests can explore the exclusive traversing area of the concession on day and night game drives and nature walks led by highly-skilled guides, as well as enjoy mokoro activities depending on the water levels.

In terms of environment, this concession has the advantage of permanent (year round) water, seasonal islands, tranquil waterways and dry woodland ensure a year-round variety of game and birds

It is a game rich area and guests are very likely to see large concentrations of predators

Qorokwe Camp is environmentally sustainable and is 100% solar powered
