An old favorite bush camp, Sable Alley was recently completely refurbished and guests can enjoy the 360-degree vistas across the lagoon from the comfort of their private tents or from the swimming pool,
lounge or one of the outdoor seating areas. Home to a pod of thirty resident hippos, as well as large herds of plains game, buffalo, and elephants that come here to quench their thirst, nothing beats sipping an ice-cold G&T at the end of a long day spent on a game drive whilst enjoying the tranquility of the lagoon.
This northern edge of the Okavango Delta boasts some of the most diverse habitats including rivers, open floodplains, and mopane woodland that bring with it an exceptional array of wildlife from the sable antelope (after which the camp is named), vast herds of other plains game such as the buffalo to the elusive leopard, wild dog and lion and abundant herds of elephant. Skilled guides will take you on thrilling morning or afternoon game drives, or show you a different vantage point from a mokoro (traditional canoe) through the many waterways.
