Located in the northern Serengeti and close to the Mara River, the Sayari Camp offers its guests a remote location serviced by an elegant camp. The name Sayari means planet, or universe, in Swahili, an apt description for the endless views this northern Serengeti camp delivers.
The exclusive, seasonal Sayari Camp perches on the south bank of the Mara River, one of the few camps in this region of the northern Serengeti. This remote region attracts game year round and features the Great Migration as thousands of zebra and wildebeest cross the Mara River.
Sayari’s position grants guests an up close and personal view of ‘The Greatest Show on Earth’ between June and November when the Great Migration occurs.
The expertly guided Sayari Camp game drives afford guests the opportunity to see large areas and track game easily, while a walking safari adds a sense of exhilaration and freedom to your bush experience.
Guests wanting to take a break from game viewing will find Sayari Camp’s facilities ideal to unwind in, and those looking for addition pampering will find it in the spa treatment facility.
Sayari Camp itself is composed of 15 luxury tents split into 2 wings, one with 9 tents, and the other with 6 tents. Each wing has its own bar and lounge area and both wings share an infinity pool. The tents are set on raised wooden platforms with expansive verandas opening out onto magnificent vistas. Inside the tents the decor is luxury African chic centered around a king size bed. The en-suite bathrooms have showers, double sinks, flush toilets and a bath with a view of the Serengeti. Sayari Camp is eco friendly and run on solar power with all waste recycled.
Sayari Camp visitors seeking exclusive luxury in a remote part of the Serengeti will find the combination of location, luxury and wildlife an inspiring fusion of an African safari experience.
