Richard Branson is no stranger to going on African Safari tours, so it was only a matter of time before the Mahali Mzuri, an exciting new tented safari camp, would be opened in the Motorogi and Olare Orok conservancies of the Masai Mara in East Africa.
Sir Richard has a long love affair with Africa, having visited Kenya on many occasions. In 2007 he was made a tribal Maasai elder, and has since returned year after year. It has been a dream to open a camp in Kenya and we are delighted to introduce Mahali Mzuri, Sir Richard Branson’s Kenyan camp, which means “beautiful place” in Swahili. Located just on the border of Maasai Mara Reserve, the camp is in the Motorogi conservancy in the Northern region of the Mara ecosystem.
As the excitement builds, the team over at Virgin Limited Edition is delighted to share new and extended offers for travelers in Kenya this summer. With free nights and park fees available to guests staying for multiple nights, there is fantastic value for longer stays during the peak migration season.
