There is no better formula than a combination of thrilling safaris out in the untamed African bush and time out relaxing on the sandy white beach. Most people do the safari portion first as its nice to chill and sleep late after being on safari where you need to be up at dawn for the best game viewing. But of course this is up to you. In fact we often find honeymooners prefer to have time out alone(!) and to absorb all the memories of their big day away at the beginning of their trip and then go on safari afterwards. But of course thats up to you. Options abound! A popular East Africa combo is a safari to Kenya and/or Tanzania followed by a beach experience on Zanzibar or Diani Beach. The beaches on the islands off the coast of Mozambique and on the shores of Lkae Malawi combine well with a safari in the Kruger or Botswana. And then in South Africa, the KwaZulu Natal and Garden Rout have lots of pretty beaches.
