Arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport you might be lucky and catch a glimpse of Africa’s highest peak before it slips behind the clouds. Your safari guide will be waiting to transfer you to Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. Spend 2 nights in the luxury of one of the 10 intimate suites.

Today you are making your way by road to the world’s largest intact caldera – Ngorongoro Crater. The transfer takes around 2 hours and you get to enjoy the beautiful landscape before arriving at one of the most breathtaking views in Africa!Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is perched on the edge of the Crater 2,000 feet above one of the most richly populated wildlife havens anywhere. 30,000 animals inhabit a mere 260km² and guests have the chance of seeing the entire Big 5 in one game drive!

You will transfer back to Lake Manyara area today to enjoy a charter flight into the Serengeti. From the Klein’s Camp Airstrip it is a one hour transfer through the Serengeti Plains to Camp.The Serengeti forms part of a huge conservation area which includes the Ngorogoro Crater and the Masai Mara in Kenya. The Serengeti and Masai Mara are known for hosting the annual Wildebeest Migration and Klein’s Camp is perfected positioned, on the edge of the Kuka Hills, to watch this spectacle unfold below.

Stay in luxury in one of the ten thatched cottages you are ensured of an intimate and personal experience. Enjoy game drives in the morning and evening seeking out the Big Game and enjoying the vast open plains which makes wildlife spotting so much easier. Guided bush walks are also available for those a bit more energetic, and bush breakfast, dinners and sundowners are a specialty!

Transfer by light aircraft from the Serengeti to Arusha. A transfer will be waiting at Arusha Airport to take you to Kilimanjaro Airport where you will board your flight to Zanzibar. It is not a long flight to the Spice Island. From Zanzibar Airport you will transfer by land and boat to Mnemba Island – your barefoot paradise for the next 3 nights!

10 simple but luxurious palm fronted bandas, the guests staying in them, and the staff looking after those guests, are all that you will find on this private little island. Mnemba Island Lodge is surrounded by white coral sand beaches, magnificent coral reefs and turquoise Indian Ocean waters.

If you are a certified diver than 2 dives a day are included in your stay. If you are looking for something a little more recreational then boats and snorkeling guides are available to take you to remote reefs. You can also snorkel straight from the shores, with more than 430 species of reef fish recorded at the “house reef”. Fly fishing, kayaking and windsurfing for those feeling a little more energetic or otherwise idle the hours away on one of the shaded traditional Zanzibari beach beds!

Today you need to leave the warm tropical waters behind and head back to the Mainland Zanzibar. If you have some time before your flight a Spice Island Tour is recommended. Otherwise wonder the narrow alleyways in Stone Town and pick up some last minute souvenirs to take home.Transfer to the Airport and enjoy your flight over the vast Indian Ocean to the mainland Tanzania.
