Arriving at Kilimanjaro Airport you might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the highest Peak in Africa – Kilimanjaro, especially if you arrive in the morning. Your transfer will be waiting to take you to Arusha Coffee Lodge on the outskirts of Arusha Town.Arusha Coffee Lodge is a luxury boutique hotel situated on the biggest coffee plantation in Tanzania. The lodge has been designed around the original farms plantation homes, therefore exuding a relaxed colonial atmosphere. There are 18 lavishly furnished plantation houses. Relax and rejuvenate in the privacy of your spacious house or enjoy the swimming pool to laze around.

Your guide will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy the scenic drive to the remote South of this National Park where you will find the exclusive Olivers Camp for a 2 night stay.

Today is a transfer to one of the densest wildlife areas on earth. Masses of plains game and predators that follow, are all contained in a 260km² unflooded volcanic crater. Here is your chance to see Africa’s Big 5 in one game drive. With no fences or borders, plenty of food for predators, it is estimated that there are around 25,000 animals within the crater.

Located on a private estate adjacent to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is The Manor at Ngorongoro. Reminiscent of colonial times and Cape Dutch architecture this elegant upcountry farm home is your base to explore the area. Stay in one of the 20 luxurious guest cottage suites and enjoy fantastic views of the landscape and gardens. Private decks and courtyards give you your own quiet areas to relax.There are various activities available at the Manor. Game drives into the Crater take place during the park opening hours and leave in the mornings or late afternoon. Today you transfer to the Northern Serengeti for a stay at Dunia Camp. A luxury mobile tented camp, Dunia actually occupies 2 locations within the Serengeti, just depending on the time of year. The camp is set up to take full advantage of the vast plains and the herds of animals that graze.Dunia Camp is made up of luxury tents, with big comfortable beds, en-suite bathrooms and private veranda’s with super views over the plains. Activities in Camp are centered on the wildlife. The abundance and diversity of game is unrivalled. Big mammals and predators and vast herds. Enjoy game drives in the morning and evening or you can relax in camp and take in the spectacular views over the plains.

The sister to Dunia, Sayari is located in the northern Serengeti. There are 15 luxury tents that make up Sayari, blending in perfectly to the landscape. The tents are en-suite, have king size beds and beautiful views from your veranda onto the plains. The area up here is vast and far off the tourist track. It is home to lion, leopard, cheetah, elephants and large herds of antelope. The close proximity of the Mara River means the setting is perfect for that annual migration of Wildebeest who have to cross these dangerous waters.

The Mara River, filled with crocodiles and hippos makes for thrilling viewing in the right season! Even without the migration, there is still plenty of resident game to provide those magical wildlife moments.

Transfer by light aircraft today from the northern Serengeti to Arusha. From Arusha you will transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Enjoy the scenic trip over the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Arrive in Zanzibar and your transfer will be waiting to take you to Matemwe Retreat in the North East of the Island, about one hour from Stonetown. The region is famous for its white sandy stretches of beach and the turquoise Indian Ocean. The Mnemba Atoll is just off the mainland with amazing coral reefs, good for diving and snorkeling!

Today you need to transfer to Stonetown to board your flight back to Kilimanjaro or Dar es Salaam. Board your flight home.
