Day 1 : Arusha Coffee Lodge
Arriving at Kilimanjaro Airport you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of Kilimanjaro. You will be transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge on the outskirts of Arusha Town. Arusha Coffee Lodge is a luxury boutique hotel situated on the biggest coffee plantation in Tanzania.
Day 2 : Oliver's Camp
Your guide will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy the scenic drive to the remote South of this National Park where you will find the exclusive Olivers Camp for a 2 night stay. Tarangire boasts vast herds of elephants and buffalo, a large concentration of big cats and Baobab Trees.
Day 3 : Oliver's Camp
Spacious tents are beautifully appointed and have super views. The camp has a relaxing atmosphere and a world class team looking after you. The Camp is famous for its walking safaris. For those not as energetic, high quality undisturbed game drives take in the wildlife and birdlife on offer.
Day 4 : The Manor at Ngorongoro
Today is a transfer to one of the densest wildlife areas on earth. Masses of plains game and predators that follow, are all contained in a 260km² unflooded volcanic crater. Here is your chance to see Africa’s Big 5 in one game drive. With no fences or borders, plenty of food for predators.
Day 5 : The Manor at Ngorongoro
Located on a private estate adjacent to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Reminiscent of colonial times and Cape Dutch architecture this elegant upcountry farm home is your base to explore the area. There are various activities available at the Manor. Game drives into the Crater take place during the park opening hours.
Day 6 : Dunia Camp
Today you transfer to the Northern Serengeti for a stay at Dunia Camp. A luxury mobile tented camp, Dunia actually occupies 2 locations within the Serengeti, depending on the time of year. The camp is set up to take full advantage of the vast plains and the herds of animals that graze.
Day 7 : Dunia Camp
Activities in Camp are centered on the wildlife. The abundance and diversity of game is unrivalled. Big mammals and predators and vast herds. Enjoy game drives in the morning and evening or you can relax in camp and take in the spectacular views over the plains.
Day 8 : Sayari Camp
The sister to Dunia, Sayari is located in the northern Serengeti. There are 15 luxury tents that blend in perfectly with the landscape. The area up here is vast and far off the tourist track. It is home to lion, leopard, cheetah, elephants and large herds of antelope. The close proximity of the Mara River means the setting is perfect for that annual migration.
Day 9 : Sayari Camp
The Mara River, filled with crocodiles and hippos makes for thrilling viewing in the right season! Even without the migration, there is still plenty of resident game to provide those magical wildlife moments. Enjoy morning and evening drives, bush walking if you feeling a bit more energetic, bush breakfast and the spa facility.
Day 10 : Matemwe Lodge
Transfer by light aircraft to Arusha. From Arusha Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Arrive in Zanzibar and your transfer will be waiting to take you to Matemwe Retreat in the North East of the Island, about one hour from Stonetown.
Day 11 : Matemwe Lodge
The region is famous for its white sandy stretches of beach and the turquoise Indian Ocean. The Mnemba Atoll is just off the mainland with amazing coral reefs, good for diving and snorkeling! Enjoy 3 nights on the Spice Island soaking up the privacy of the Retreat or exploring the island.
Day 12 : Matemwe Lodge
Matemwe Retreat consists of 3 self-contained private Villas. All have in-house dining and a private butler service, as well as uninterrupted views of the Ocean. The Villa’s are situated above a small private beach, shared by all 3 Villas, and the private roof terraces host private plunge pools with both shade and sun decks.
Day 13 : Matemwe Lodge
DEPARTURE DAY - Today you need to transfer to Stonetown to board your flight back to Kilimanjaro or Dar es Salaam. Board your flight home.
