Leopards are not usually the pushy types – leaving that sort of things to the more brutish lions – but this young male spotted in Zambia recently seems to have a little more nerve than most. Filmed by lucky safari goers at Mfuwe Lodge in the South Luangwa, this leopard begins feeding on an impala killed by a crocodile…who just so happens to still be holding the other end!

Showing absolute gutsiness and a complete disregard for the huge jaws of the crocodile mere inches from it’s face. the leopard cooly and calmly sits down for lunch. The crocodile shows remarkable patience and displays no signs of aggression, instead lazily wondering off once he feels that the leopard is pushing his luck a bit. There must be something in the water in Zambia!
