After 3 days of the cosmopolitan city it is time to make your way to the African Bush to begin your Safari. Drop your car at Cape Town Airport and connect to an early flight to Johannesburg. In Johannesburg you will check in for the flight to Kasane, Botswana. You will be met by your guide from Chobe Under Canvas and transferred to an exclusive semi-permanent campsite on or near the Chobe River.
Chobe Under Canvas consist of 6 luxury en-suite safari tents and conjures up all the images and emotions you have of romantic Africa. With animal trails meandering through the site, continuous activity on the river banks, the largest concentration of African Elephant on your doorstep and twice daily activities – you will sink into African Bush life before you know it.
The camp will arrange your transfer to the Delta. This is by light aircraft and is an amazing way to get a good feel for where you actually are and what a wilderness you are privileged to be experiencing.
