Day 1 : Radisson Blu Waterfront
On arrival in Cape Town the family will be met by a private guide and transferred to The Radisson Hotel in the Waterfront. The Sea Facing Room is a fantastic option to accommodate families, being spacious with spectacular views. You have 2 days with your guide to explore all that Cape Town has to offer.
Day 2 : Radisson Blu Waterfront
Family friendly attractions in and around Cape Town include: The Big Wheel, Boat cruises to Seal Island, events and exhibitions in the V&A Waterfront, the Aquarium, Natural History Museum, Ostrich Ranch, Crocodile farm, Hout Bay Harbour, Kirstenbosch, Butterfly World and a range of craft markets.
Day 3 : Akademie Street Boutique Hotel and Guest House
Once your hire car has been delivered at the hotel you are ready for the real adventure to begin. An hour's drive away is your first stop – The Akademie Street Guesthouse in Franschoek in the heart of the beautiful wine country. A great base to explore the countryside and visit the family friendly wine farms.
Day 4 : Akademie Street Boutique Hotel and Guest House
Apart from good restaurants and wine tastings, family fin can be had at Butterfly World, the Crocodile Ranch, the Eagle Encounters and the horse riding stables at Spier and the Cheetah Outreach Project.
Day 5 : Hog Hollow Country Lodge
A good breakfast will set you on your way for your drive down the Garden Route. A 5 hour scenic drive gets you to Hog Hollow, situated just outside the pretty beach town of Plettenberg Bay. Hog Hollow is spacious, secluded and perfect for nature loving families.
Day 6 : Hog Hollow Country Lodge
There are 3 suites suitable for children. Baby sitting can be arranged. A creative range of kids stuff is provided like story time, gingerbread men, toys, buckets and spades for the beach etc. Parents can relax at the pool or enjoy a massage.
