You will be collected from Cape Town airport and road transferred to the More Quarters Hotel - well located in the heart of the city of Cape Town. You can take a walk down to bars, bistros and brasseries or meander up to Table Mountain. The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront and the beaches of Camps Bay are just a short drive away, as are most of the city's attractions.

Today you will check out of the More Quarters and you will be road transferred to Le Quartier Francais. Centrally situated on Franschhoek’s Main Street, it is well deserving of its Relais et Chateaux status. Spend your days strolling along the streets of Franschhoek, popping into the town’s many galleries, boutiques, tea houses and restaurants.

Gardens fringed with lavender and roses scent the air and provide a serene setting for the fifteen guest suites of Le Quartier’s Auberge. Elegant interiors are fresh and colourful and each suite has a spacious lounge where guests can unwind with a drink from the complimentary full bar in the suite.

Spend your days strolling along the streets of Franschhoek, popping into the town’s many galleries, boutiques, tea houses and restaurants; or venture off on a foray into the winelands. What about a bread making course at Moreson?

Le Quartier Français’ restaurants serve, without doubt, some of the finest food in South Africa. Ici is the less formal of the two restaurants at Le Quartier Français and serves delicious, simple fare. Dinners in The Tasting Room are a lengthily and extravagant affair where tasting menus are paired with the finest South African wines.

You will be collected from Le Quartier Francais and road transfer to River Manor. It is located in the oak-lined streets of Stellenbosch: a university town which is steeped in history. The two gorgeous old buildings of River Manor are national monuments and lend plenty of colonial charm to the guesthouse.

The lounges have a fire burning in the hearth in winter; the conservatory is a quiet place to retreat to with a book; two swimming pools are surrounded by tranquil gardens; and a shady poolside veranda is the venue for wholesome breakfasts. and a wellness spa.

Architecture in Stellenbosch is predominantly Cape Dutch style and much can be learnt about South Africa’s fascinating past during historical tours of the town. Restaurants, pubs and sidewalk cafés abound and art galleries are filled with local crafts. The Stellenbosch wine route makes a wonderful day trip.

You will be collected and road transferred to Cape Town Airport. Fly from Cape Town to Nelspruit, take a schedule charter flight from Nelspruit Airport to Lion Sands Ivory Lodge. You will be collected by your ranger from the airstrip and transferred to Ivory Lodge in open game vehicle.

Lion Sands Ivory Lodge in the Sabie Sand Game Reserve, is set along the banks of the Sabie River upstream from its sister lodge, Lion Sands River Lodge.The intimate Ivory Lodge has six gorgeous, ultra-luxurious suites with en suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, and a private viewing deck and a private rim-flow plunge pool.

Game drives and walking safaris through the Sabi Sand Game Reserve under the aegis of the Lion Sands guides are enthralling and guests might spot any of the Big Five, in addition to a large diversity of other game and birdlife. Lions Sands’ senior ecologist gives fascinating lectures that make these activities all the more interesting.

After morning game drive and breakfast, your ranger will transfer you in open game vehicle to the airstrip in time for your schedule charter flight to Johannesburg. You will be collected from the Federal Air Hanger and transferred to the Peech Hotel.

DEPARTURE DAY -Today you will have a guide and vehicle at your disposal, the day will be tailored to your interests to either visit the Apartheid Museum, Soweto or Constitution Hill. You will then be transferred to Johannesburg Airport in time for your international flight home.
